Making Money is the wild and addictive new novel of friendship, betrayal, and risking it all from Hanna Bervoets, the acclaimed author of We Had To Remove This Post.
Ellie is a prepper. She is saving up $25,000 in gold, enough to live off-grid and save herself at the end of the world. The answer to making the money? An investment app called Matador.
Then, she gets a pointer from an online forum: an obscure Australian wine company is poised to surge. She sinks most of her savings into it. Now, she waits.
Out of nowhere, Freya, her best friend from high school, reaches out. They've been out of touch for years. She's a single mum in the middle of a nightmare divorce. In other words, she needs money, fast.
So . . . Ellie tells her about the vineyard. But Freya does more than invest. She starts sharing financial tips with her online following. The stock takes off. And things start going wrong. Investors report strange ailments, horrific accidents. Rumours spread online. Is the stock cursed? Should they jump ship? Or risk it all?
